HaptX came to us during a pivotal time in their company’s journey. They were set to release a new, much updated version of their groundbreaking gloves, called the HaptX Gloves G1. These gloves use pressurized air to create life-like sensations for VR and robotics applications.
In order to be prepared for this massive launch, we needed to help pull the companies’ brand and digital presence together and under a clear, strategic plan.
The brand lacked a cohesive vision and the site was dated and stale. We reinvigorated their brand with a sleek, refined, scalable design language and helped reorganize their robust site experience for the successful new product launch.
BRANDING
WEB DESIGN
Our visuals were inspired by the way the gloves created sensation: through pressurized air being forced into hundreds of microfluidic tactile actuators.
We visualized the air as it created the magical moment of touch inside the gloves. In branding we paired this with other visuals that told a visual story around the accuracy of the gloves.
Here we show the breadth of the gloves applications; a training simulation, interacting with virtual objects, military training and used in delicate robotics.
